Marta Reclaims Her Life and Her Dream Home

Marta’s life has been marked by resilience and sacrifice. She is divorced and has a 19-year-old daughter currently serving in the army. She also had a son who was disabled but passed away two years ago. Her son, who was autistic and epileptic, tragically choked to death while staying in a hostel.

Twenty years ago, Marta immigrated from Russia. She was a professional biochemist but gave up her career to care for her sick son. After his passing, she began working in elderly care. Recently, she had the opportunity to purchase her own home at a discounted price.

Thanks to your generous donations, HaTikva Project was able to help Marta buy her first home, providing her with hope and a fresh start after her years of loss and dedication.
